                             Sub: Fodder scam case- Successful investigation and

                                      prosecution- Appreciation - conveyed.

 The entire nation rejoices the successful prosecution in one of the most sensational and long drawn fodder scam cases of Bihar, which finally ended up in conviction.

As erstwhile members of the police force, we know what are all the hurdles, the CBI would have faced in the course of the investigation and prosecution of the case. We know what amount of pressure would have been brought by the two most powerful erstwhile chief ministers Laloo Prasad and Jagannath Mishra, enjoying the support of the ruling alliance at the centre, on the officials handling the case. We are certain that they would have left no stone unturned to dilute the entire process and nullify the outcome.  

But, the CBI, overcoming all the impediments on its way, has taken the case to its logical end. It has accomplished a Herculean task. It is yet another feather in its cap. The entire nation salutes the premier investigating agency for its Himalayan achievement.

 We make an earnest appeal to the Director to convey  our wholehearted appreciation and sky high praise to one and all in the entire team which has done an extra ordinarily excellent national service. They are a role model to the entire police force  in the country. Their courage, dedication and devotion are outstanding. They deserve the highest possible honours.
